There are quite a handful of customization that you can carried out in Windows 8 with the help of third-party tools. You can bring back the Start Menu, skip metro Start Screen and straight away loads the desktop on Windows start up, and now you might want to edit the quick access menu in Windows 8, otherwise known as the “Win+X” menu.

The Win+X Menu Editor from WinAero (the developer of Skip Metro Suite) is a third-party application for Windows 8 that allows you to quickly and easily edit the items in the “Win+X” menu. This include the ability to add, remove, rename and reorder the menu items.

If you want to revert the changes you’ve made, simply hit the Restore Defaults button. Note that using the Win+X Menu Editor doesn’t modify the system files.
