How to Show Classic Menus On Microsoft Office 2007 Ribbon Interface?1 min read

One of the reasons why some users are not switching from Microsoft Office 2003 to the 2007 version is because of the Riboon interface in the Office 2007 that doesn’t look familiar to them. Many still prefer the classic menus and toolbars in Microsoft Office 2003. Sadly, Microsoft does not include any option for us to revert back to the classic menu.

Well, there is third party application that can bring back the Office menus and toolbars to your copy of Microsoft Office 2007. Office (Classic) Menu Add-ins for Office 2007 allows you to work with Office 2007 as if it were Office 2003. This freeware enables you to revert back to classic menu for Microsoft Word 2007, Microsoft Excel 2007, Microsoft Powerpoint 2007 and Microsoft Access 2007.

This application comes in form of add-ins and needs to be implemented separately for each Microsoft Office 2007 application. When you feel like switching back to the Ribbon interface in the future, the classic menu and toolbars can be easily removed by right clicking on the toolbar & Select Delete Custom Toolbar.
