Cleano was mentioned here some three years ago (back then it carried v0.5), and it’s worth a mention again here as we try to highlight the improvement and newly added features from the latest version 1.0 of the lightweight utility application. Cleano was last updated on August 7, 2011.
In version 1.0, besides allowing you to automatically clean up unwanted and temporary files from your computer on Windows logon (plus with time delay), you also can set Cleano to carry out the clean up instantly, during Windows logoff or set on timer.
Cleano requires no installation. Simply run the Cleano.exe file to use the application. On the main window of Cleano, you can check all or your preferred selection of temporary files that you want it to be cleaned.
To set Cleano to clean on Windows logon, logoff or on timer, hit the Service button and configure the settings from there. If you want to clean your Windows instantly, simply click on the Clean Now button in the main window.
If you enable the RBin feature, all the deleted files and folders will be sent to Recycle Bin.
Here’s a list of temporary data that Cleano can clean :
- User’s Temp.
- User’s Recent Items.
- User’s NetHood Items.
- User’s Internet Explorer.
- User’s Desktop Run History.
- Windows Prefetch files.
- Windows temp.
- User’s Coustom folders.
Cleano is free for download and is compatible with Windows XP, Vista and 7.
