Every year, on the last Saturday in the month of March, people all over the globe turn off lights and other non-essential appliances at home or in their office for one hour in a symbolic show of support for action against global climate change and for energy conservation.
This event is known as the Earth Hour and this year, Earth Hour is celebrating it’s 5th anniversary tonight, Saturday March 26 2011 at 8.30 pm. So we need all your support for Earth Hour 2011 by switching off the lights for one hour tonight from 8.30 pm to 9.30 pm.
