DiGi to Sell iPhone in Malaysia by First Half of 20101 min read

Yes, you have heard it right. DiGi, one of the three “big boys” in the Malaysian mobile communication industry, has reached an agreement to sell the Apple iPhone 3G and 3GS in Malaysia. Following this news, DiGi has become the second telco company to sell iPhone in Malaysia and is set to end the nearly one-year monopoly of Maxis on selling iPhones in Malaysia.

The iPhone 3G and iPhone 3GS, will be most likely available by the first half of this year, for DiGi customers to experience on Turbo 3G.

So far, DiGi doesn’t really reveal much details about their iPhone deals. Hopefully, the deals will not be disappointing and the packages offered are reasonably priced. If the deal is irresistible, I may giving up HTC Hero and consider purchasing iPhone from DiGi.

If you are really interested to be among the first to find out the latest details about the DiGi iPhone, make sure you leave your email address in the DiGi’s iPhone page.
