Instant Messenger Cleaner (formerly known as MSN Virus Cleaner) is a freeware portable application that allows you to scan and remove any instant messenger threats like viruses, worms and other threats from your MSN or Windows Live Messenger, Yahoo Messenger and AOL Instant Messenger.
From the main window of Instant Messenger Cleaner, you can choose from two type of scan to perform, Quick Scan or Custom Scan. All the detected threats will be automatically deleted from your computer.
In the Settings tab, you can choose only the items that you want Instant Messenger Cleaner to perform.
In addition, Instant Messenger Cleaner comes extra functionality like the Browser Cleaner for deleting temporary internet files and the Thumbs Cleaner for cleaning application thumbs. These two tools can be accessed from the system tray.
Instant Messenger Cleaner is compatible with Windows XP, Vista and 7. Microsoft .NET Framework 2.0 or above is needed for this program to work properly.
