We’d compiled for once a list of antivirus removal tools many years ago. Such tools enable you to remove a failed installation or a damaged antivirus product. Till today, we still receive quite a handful of pageviews for that old article.
In order to get people to download nothing but the latest antivirus removal tools (in this case for version 2015 2016), we’ve decided to update the article with this new post. However, the list below is still a work in progress. Thus far, we have AVG Remover 2015, Norton Removal Tool 2015, Panda 2015 Generic Uninstaller and AppRemover. Still looking for such tools for Kaspersky, Bitdefender, Avira, Avast and other security products.

AVG Remover 2015
This tool allows users to completely uninstall any of AVG security products including the new 2015 range of products which include AVG Antivirus Free 2015, AVG Antivirus 2015 and AVG Internet Security 2015.
The removal tool helps you remove registry items, installation files, user files, content from the Virus Vault and more, from your AVG installation. Reboot is required to complete the uninstallation.

Norton Removal Tool 2015
This handy tool allows you to completely uninstall or remove any of Norton installations including the latest Norton 2015 lineup of products. Program settings, quarantined files and product key will be deleted.

Panda 2015 Generic Uninstaller
This tool enables you to remove Panda Security 2015 product line – Panda Antivirus Pro 2015, Panda Internet Security 2015 and Panda Global Protection 2015. Older versions are supported.

AppRemover
The free AppRemover utility allows you to uninstall all kinds of antivirus software and anti-spyware. This includes security products from AVG, Avast!, Avira, Bitdefender, Kaspersky, Norton and Trend Micro. You can check all the supported applications here.
Besides security products, this utility also enables you to remove public file sharing applications, backup applications and browser toolbars.
Note that the utility may not yet recognize the latest version of antivirus products, although it is an one-stop place to remove multiple security products.

Bitdefender 2016 Uninstall Tool
As the name implies, this uninstall tool allows you to remove Bitdefender 2016 products. This includes Bitdefender Antivirus Plus 2016, Bitdefender Internet Security 2016 and Bitdefender Total Security 2016.
