My Tech Quest Turned 1 Yesterday!

On 24 March last year, I have successfully migrated my blog from Blogspot to WordPress and posted my first ever blog post on this self-hosted blog. Before switching to WordPress, I have blogged on blogspot for almost 4 months. Time fly so fast. In a split of time, a year has passed.

Now, My Tech Quest is a one year old blog. It was not easy to survive until a year. I have read it somewhere saying that many bloggers give up blogging in their first six months. On August last year, I did stopped blogging for almost 3 months but not because that I’ve gave up blogging. It’s just because I was working part time.

Here, I would like to thank to everyone especially you, yes you, for your visit, your comments, your support, your feedback. Thanks for everything! I hope that you will continue to support My Tech Quest.

Here is a few interesting stats about my blog.

• I have written a total of 243 posts and received 1,039 comments.
• This blog currently has 145 feed subscribers. (Subscribe to my blog now!)
• The busiest day was on August  8, 2008 (08-08-08) with 6,420 pageviews.
• The most popular post has been Watch Star Wars Episode IV in Your Command Prompt for Free
• The url of my blogspot blog, Steve’s Tech Blog was http://steveyu85.blogspot.com (No longer existed).
• I received my first google adsense cheque on December 16, 2008. It took me one and half year to break the minimum payout. Since then, I received my adsense earning every month.

Tell you the truth, it’s great to run a blog and write articles.  How long have you run your blog?
