Remember YoWindow? It’s one of the leading free desktop weather application and screensaver for Windows and Mac. YoWindow displays living landscape that reflects actual weather data. We first wrote about this application some three years ago and today, the application is still standing strong.
Recently, the developer has released a newer version of the weather application – called the YoWindow 3S.
The latest version comes with sound effects, which add more charm to scenes including cloud cover, rain, snow, fog and thunderstorms. Now, running YoWindow 3S on your desktop is even more like watching the weather out of your window. It sounds real too.
Other than that, YoWindow 3S also features three new lively animated landscapes – Oriental, Seaside and Airport. Previously, YoWindow only provides one landscape – the original village house landscape.

YoWindow 3S is free for download (paid version is available too) and is compatible with Windows 8, Windows 7, Vista and XP.
