Auslogics Browser Care is a new tool for Windows that enables you to manage all your web browsers in one place. Using the tool, you can remove unwanted toolbars or plug-ins, set your homepage and default search engine as well as clearing up temporary browsing data from your browsers.
Browser Care reminds us of avast! Browser Cleanup. However, the latter only helps you to manage toolbars or plug-ins, and remove those which are deemed unnecessary to you. So if you are choose between these two tools, get yourself Browser Care instead.
This freeware supports major web browsers including Internet Explorer, Mozilla Firefox and Google Chrome. Each browser get one tab page, at which within the page you can change your homepage and search engine, as well as disable/enable or uninstall toolbars and plug-ins. Browser Care will automatically clean up your temporary cache files.
Other than cache files, you can clear other browsing data like cookies, history and sensitive data such as passwords, usernames or emails. Click on the Clear browsing data option to reveal the additional options.
During our test, we found out there is no way to configure the settings of our Google Chrome nor clean up the browsing data. The settings can’t be changed from the interface as the browser is linked to our Google account. So this means that to be able to change the settings, you need to first disconnect your Google account with Chrome browser.
Auslogics Browser Care is free for download and is compatible with Windows 8, Windows 7, Vista and XP.
