IObit has finally released the stable version of Driver Booster 2. The free driver updating tool for Windows comes with an all-new simplified interface and adds quite a handful of new features. Read on for more details.
Most of the features have been mentioned in our previous writing on the beta version except for the new ability to scan and update drivers for unplugged devices.
Other new features include the introduction of game drivers database to better support game drivers. It lets you update game components as well as drivers (Adobe Air, DirectX, Flash, Java, PhysX, more). There is now an online database update method to ensure you get the latest updates for your drivers.
Both free and pro users can expect faster driver download speeds. The driver installation package also takes up smaller space and there is an option to roll back drivers (go to Rescue Center > System Restore, system restore point is automatically created before driver installation).
IObit Driver Booster 2 is free for download and is compatible with Windows 8, Windows 7, Vista and XP.
