Microsoft’s all-new web browser, the Internet Explorer 10 (or just called it IE10) comes pre-installed with Windows 8. For Windows 7 users, they can now get a taste of IE10 as the final release of the browser is now available for download. Previously, a release preview was released on November last year.
IE10 is available in 95 languages (only 36 languages in release preview) and is compatible with both 32-bit and 64-bit version of Windows 7 with Service Pack 1 as well as the 64-bit version of Windows Server 2008. Users running Windows 7 will be auto upgraded to IE10 in the coming weeks. Users with IE10 release preview installed are likely to get the update first.
Some of features and improvements in IE10 include improved JavaScript performance and better battery life for mobile PCs. There are also integrated spell checking and auto-correct within the browser, as well as improved support for web standards like the latest CSS3 improvements. Unfortunately, there won’t be a fullscreen Windows 8 kind-of metro experience on Windows 7.
