Earlier this month, Symantec has released its 2014 (aka version 21) lineup of security software products. The products include Norton Antivirus 2014, Norton Internet Security 2014 and Norton 360 2014. The following week after the release, an updated version of Norton Removal Tool was released.
The new Norton Removal Tool (version 21.0.0.14) lets you completely uninstall or remove all the parts of Norton installation including the recently-released Norton 2014 lineup of products.
To use, simply run the portable Norton Removal Tool and there is a CAPTCHA code to enter. The tool will automatically detect the selected Norton products on your system and uninstall them once and for all, without leaving leftover files. Program settings, quarantined files and even product key will be deleted.
We strongly advise you to use this tool as if it is the only option you have. This removal tool should only be put into work to remove a failed installation or a damaged Norton product, otherwise you can opt for normal uninstallation process.
Norton Removal Tool is portable and is designed to work with Windows 8, Windows 7, Vista, XP and 2000.
