Piriform’s CCleaner has just received a major update to version 4.00. The freeware system optimization, privacy and cleaning tool for Windows gets improved interface, new File Finder tool and more. Read on for more details.
There is actually nothing exciting about the interface as CCleaner v4.00 only gets a minor facelift. As you can see, the program get a set of new improved graphics and icon. The menus are still in the same place, so there is no need to find your way around rearranged menus.
The program features a new duplicate File Finder tool. As the name suggests, the tool enables you to search for duplicate files and remove them from your system. You can set the matching criteria, file types to ignore and select drive or folder that you want to search in.
Other than that, CCleaner also introduced a new System and Browser Monitoring tool, but limited only to Pro version.
