Microsoft has released the prerelease version (also the last beta version) of Internet Explorer 11 for Windows 7. The IE11 Release Preview is now available for download and testing on Windows 7 as well as Windows Server 2008.
Building on IE10, Internet Explorer 11 is faster and advances the web platform on the hundreds of millions of devices running Windows 7, bringing standards like WebGL coupled with industry leading JavaScript performance.

As for general availability, the IE11 for Windows 7 will be released this fall, most probably shortly after the official launch Windows 8.1 on October 18. IE11 for Windows 8.1 will coincide with the Windows 8.1 general availability.
