Currently, there is already a portable version of Google Chrome, called Chromium. And now, the most popular portable software suite, PortableApps.com has announced the release of Portable Google Chrome in PortableApps.com format.
Portable Google Chrome is introduced in PortableApps.com first ever release of freeware portable applications to it’s open source lineup. Together in the release are 2X Client Portable, FreeCommander Portable, SpyDLLRemover Portable and Skype Portable. More software titles will be released soon.
After download, all you have to do is unpack and run the exe installer. Make sure you are connected to the Internet because Google Chrome Portable will download additional files during setup. All the program settings are saved in “GoogleChromePortable” folder while user settings go in “profile” folder.
