I believe every Facebook users is familiar with the “Like” feature in Facebook. And recently, Facebook has decided to extend their “Like” feature to other sites/blogs on the web, with the release of the Facebook “Like” button. Quite similar to the Facebook Share Count button, the Facebook “Like” button enables your visitors (which are also a Facebook user) to make connections to your pages and share content back to their friends on Facebook with one click.
The Facebook Like button is available as a plugin. You can get the code to display the Facebook like button on your blog, from the Facebook site. But you don’t have to take all the trouble to generate the code, then paste it to your WordPress theme editor.
The Facebook Like button is also available as a WordPress plugin. The WP FB Like plugin for WordPress will automatically add new Facebook Like button in each of your blog posts. Not only in blog posts, you can choose to display the button on pages or on your main page (home).
In addition, you can choose to display the Facebook Like button before and/or after each blog content. You can also put styles to your button and also select to display the profile picture of the Facebook user that has pressed the Like button.
