Here’s a short update. In addition to the users in the U.S., the recently-released Facebook Home for Android is now available for international users.
Users outside the U.S. using compatible Android smartphones including HTC One X, HTC One X+, Samsung Galaxy S III and Samsung Galaxy Note II, can download the new Android launcher and home screen replacement from the social network giant on Google Play Store. Note that the new HTC One and to-be-on-sale Samsung Galaxy S 4 will support the app in the future.
To recap on the features, Facebook Home comes with Cover Feed (dress up your lock screen and home screen with latest photos and posts from Facebook friends), Chat Heads (jump in a conversation from anywhere on Android), notifications and app launcher.
For unsupported devices, you can try installing the patched version of Facebook Home on your Android device. We’ve tried it ourselves and the app really works. 🙂
