Norton Internet Security 21-Beta

Symantec just has released the public beta versions of their upcoming major release of Norton Antivirus 21, Norton Internet Security 21 and Norton 360 21. The products are now available as free download, downloadable directly from Norton Beta Center.

All the three new Norton security products will be fully compatible with the upcoming Windows 8.1 OS update.  FYI, the first public preview of Windows 8.1 will be available for test drive via the Windows Store, beginning June 26.

The improvements provided with the betas include stronger protection through improved effectiveness of reputation-based (Norton Insight) and behavioral-based (SONAR) engines. The products now consume less memory and see improvement in file copy speeds. In addition to that, Symantec tweaked its Norton Identity Safe technology for better stability, improved form-filling, better cross-platform functionality, and more.
