AMD AppZone Brings Android Apps to Windows 8

In addition to the rather limited number of apps from Windows 8 Store, PC users can enjoy more than 500,000 Android apps on the next-generation Windows OS, thanks to the partnership of AMD and BlueStacks.

AMD AppZone Brings Android Apps to Windows 8

A few days back, the computer chip maker has launched the AMD AppZone Player to bring the Android experience on AMD-powered desktops running the Windows 8 and also Windows 7.

You can visit this page to check out the available Android apps and games. There is a download button to download and install the Android app to your desktop.

We couldn’t test drive the AppZone Player as we are using Intel-powered system. So if your system isn’t running AMD, just forget about the AMD AppZone Player because it just won’t installed to your desktop. Alternatively, you can try BlueStacks App Player.
