Create Customized Installer for Multiple Freeware Applications with FreeApp2 min read

There is no big deal in installing one software application. But what if you need to install not just one or two applications, but a dozen of applications into your computer system. Normally, you’ll need to get dozens of applications installed on your system, after you have gone through Windows re-format and also when you buy a new laptop or desktop.

One of the best solutions is to create a multiple apps installer. Previously, I have mentioned about Ninite and Allmyapps. Both are web-based services that allows you to create a customized multiple applications installer. Using the installer, you can install multiple freeware applications in one go on your system.

And, now joining the list is the FreeApp online service. On the start page of FreeApp, you can see a list of offered applications, put under categories like browsers, anti-virus & firewall, anti-spyware, system utilities, office software and more. All of them are freeware and have been tested free from viruses and spyware.

All it takes is to pick all your favourite and must-have applications from the list of offered apps. Note that several applications do include the toolbar installation (Too bad they are not disabled). So watch out for apps with a “*” sign after it.

All your favourite applications will be added to a master list of applications. When you have done with the software selection, click on the “Get Installer” button to download the application installer (FreeApp.exe) to your computer.

After download, launch the installer. The installer is a small program that will download and install the selected applications. To begin the process, you will need to first specify the installation directory for the applications. The selected applications are then loaded in the interface. Each program is downloaded from the Internet and installed in the selected program.

Try FreeApp to install multiple freeware applications on your system in one go. Thanks, ghacks!
