Facebook has announced the release of the new Messenger app for both iPhone and Android-powered devices. The Facebook Messenger app is an extension of Facebook messages and is a separate app from the Facebook app.
Using the Messenger app, you only takes one click to get to your messages or send a new one. With this, you are provided with a faster way to message your Facebook friends (and a group of friends) right from your mobile.
