Remember Parrot AR.Drone? It is one of the coolest remote-controlled helicopters that every geek would want to own. Well, we don’t call the thing a helicopter, instead it’s a quadricopter, because AR.Drone uses four helicopter blades to fly.
The second generation of the high-tech quadricopter, the Parrot AR.Drone 2.0 has made its debut early this year. Guess what, the AR.Drone 2.0 is now available in Malaysia!
The Parrot AR. Drone 2.0 has a brand new look and cutting edge design. Other than that, it features a new 720p HD camera, with 1280×720 resolution, that streams high-definition live video to your smartphone or tablet. There are also a new piloting mode, a 3D magnetometer (gives you a precise orientation of the camera with respect to your device), flight data sharing, increased stability and thanks to the pressure sensor, the quadricopter can fly higher than previous model , at height up to 6 metres.
