How to Receive Email Alerts from Any Facebook Fan Page?2 min read

One of the missing features on Facebook fan page is the feature that allows users to receive email notifications or alerts of posts and comments that are published on a selected Facebook fan page. Without the feature, it gives difficult time to the owner of the Facebook page and also to the their fans to monitor the activities on that particular Facebook fan page.

Gladly we have Hyper Alerts, a free and easy-to-use web service that enables you to receive email alerts of posts and comments from any Facebook fan page. You don’t have to be an administrator of a page to receive the email alerts, and you can select as many pages as you want.

Now, let’s take a look at how to get Hyper Alerts to work, shall we?

On the main page of Hyper Alerts, hit the Create new account link to get yourself a registered account.

Enter your email address and password. Then click on the Register button to create an account.

After successfully registered an account with Hyper Alerts, you are ready to set up email alert for the Facebook fan page you’d like to monitor. You can add alerts in two ways.

One way is by clicking the “Add alert by URL” button then type in the URL of the Facebook page, or you can select from a list of pages you administer. Click on the “Add alert from your Facebook user” to do so. You can add as many alerts as you like, and even multiple alerts for the same page.

Finally, you need to specify which contents that you want Hyper Alerts to notify you with. You can choose to get alerts on posts, comments or own content. “Own content”  means comments and posts by the page administrators. If you want to get email alerts from your Facebook fan page, then check the “Own content” option.

Also, you need to specify the time interval between the email alerts – either you want to receive alerts as soon as possible, hourly, daily, weekly or monthly. Click Save when you’re done!
