Cut the Rope 2 launch for iOS on December 19

Cut the Rope 2 has the same concept as the original game, in which you still need to cut ropes and put candy into Om Nom’s mouth. Just that, the sequel now offers interactive environments, helper characters and more focus on story.

In Cut the Rope 2, you need to help the little green creature on his journey to restore his collection of candies, which has been stolen by a mischievous gang of spiders. The sequel features five themed worlds, each home to a new creature that can aid or hinder Om Nom.

Om Nom and Helper Characters in Cut the Rope 2 – Roto, Blue, Lick, Boo and Toss.

  • Roto (Forest stages) –  an orange critter that can carry objects up and down the screen.
  • Blue (Junkyard stages) – a blob made up of self-multiplying copies.
  • Lick (Sandy Sam stages) –  can make secondary bridges with its long tongue.
  • Boo (Underground stages) – a purple creature that can knock back Om Nom when they collide.
  • Toss (City Park stages) – a spring-headed creature that can bounce Om Nom into the air.

Here’s the teaser video of Cut to Rope 2, if you don’t already watch it.

Cut the Rope 2 will be selling at only $0.99 as limited-time offer from the developer when it launches on December 19.

P.S. : Why iOS users always get the privileges to be the first to try out new game? Sorry, users of other platforms, you all need to wait a little longer.
