Last month, we’ve mentioned the beta version of WhatsApp Messenger for Android (v2.9.2363) that came with a new Holo-themed interface design. The beta version didn’t hit Google Play Store, instead you need to download the beta version from Whatsapp’s official site.
Guess what, a new version of Whatsapp Messenger has now landed on Google Play Store! The cross-platform messaging app (now carries version 2.9.3922) comes with (of course) the new Holo-themed interface (which gives you the latest Android look and feel), added support for vietnamese language and contains many bug fixes as well as reliability improvements.
As we all know, WhatsApp Messenger is only free for one year. After the free trial period, you need to fork out 99 cents/year to continue using the service. If you plan to use the service for many years ahead, you can purchase 3 year or 5 year service at a discount.
