[UPDATE 30/3/2013] ASUS has just started Padfone Infinity pre-order in Taiwan, pricing revealed.
ASUS’s third generation Android smartphone and tablet hybrid – the Padfone Infinity is set to launch in the company’s home market of Taiwan this week, or tomorrow March 26 to be exact.
Padfone Infinity which was first unveiled in Mobile World Congress (MWC) 2013 last month, will be sold by Taiwan’s three major telecom operators. Actual pricing was not disclosed but should cost around €999 (roughly USD 1300 or RM 4000) for both PadFone Infinity 64GB and PadFone Infinity Station.
As compared to the previous model, the Padfone Infinity get a larger full HD screen display with faster quad-core processor, LTE connectivity, runs Android 4.1 Jelly Bean while its Station tablet features full HD display. More details on the specs here.
