It’s coming next month! Christmas is just one month from now. 🙂 So starting today, we at My Tech Quest will start writing Christmas-related goodies, freebies as well as apps while we’re counting down our way to Christmas day. We’ve talked about the Charlie Brown Christmas app just a while ago. The app costs $6.99 to purchase. Now, how about something free?
Okay, let’s decorate your Android smartphone with Christmas tree, shall we? The Christmas Tree Live Wallpaper is free Android app that contains a collection of animated Christmas tree wallpapers, that you can put on the home screen of your Android smartphone.
 
There are three choices of Christmas trees you can select from – Standard, Happy and Frozen Tree. To add the Christmas Tree as background, simply tap the Menu button while you’re on the home screen. Select Wallpaper > Live Wallpapers.
Look into the list for the Christmas Tree Live Wallpaper. You can preview and configure the Christmas tree to your liking in the Settings page before apply it.
 
The settings include choosing the Christmas tree; adjust snow quantity and speed; configure lights colour, shape, number and effect; change sparking type and frequency as well as enable/disable the sound.
 
Once done, apply the changes. Walla, you have a nice-looking Christmas tree on your Android. 🙂
The developer pointed out that a new upgrade to the app will be available this coming December 11. Stay tuned for it.
