Norton Identity Safe - Cloud-Based Password Manager

We’ve written a detailed tutorial on how to use the Norton Identity Safe Beta just a while ago. Today, the Norton Identity Safe is officially out of beta as Symantec announced the stable version of the cloud-based password manager. The password manager is now available for download for Windows, Mac as well as mobile OS including iOS and Android.

Norton Identity Safe - Cloud-Based Password Manager

Norton Identity Safe makes logging into your favourite and frequently-used websites easier, faster and more secure. It enables you to easily and securely store your passwords (credit card details and sensitive notes) in an encrypted online vault. As the passwords are stored online and synchronized across PCs, Mac computers, browsers, iOS devices such as iPhone, iPod Touch and iPad, and Android devices, it gives you the convenient to access all your login details from virtually any computer, any browser and on the go too.

Besides working as a password manager, Identity Safe also features Norton Safe Search (which enable you to perform safe search) and Norton Safe Web (protect you from malicious sites through website rating). In addition, the Share feature enables you to safely share online content by sending URLs through email and social networking plugins, directly from Norton Identity Safe.

As part of the promotion, Symantec is offering the cloud-based password manager for free until October 1, 2012. To learn more about Norton Identity Safe, please visit the official page here, or you might want to read our tutorial on the password manager. Give it a try!
