I know everyone is very excited awaiting for the coming of March 7, as the next-generation of iPad, most probably will be named as iPad 3 or maybe iPad HD, will be officially unveiled on that date. In our previous, we have talked about a few possible new features and improvements in the new iPad. Now, how about the pricing?
As for the pricing, according to 9to5Mac, they reported that the pricing of iPad 3 will be the same as the current iPad 2 models in the US, meaning that iPad 3 pricing will range from $499 to $829.
Moreover, some countries with currencies strengthening against the US dollar should expect to purchase the iPad 3 at cheaper prices that the prices they paid for iPad 2 last year. Anyhow, it is unlikely for us in Malaysia to see drops in prices. So the pricing should remains the same as iPad 2.
If that is the case, the Wi-Fi only model would cost RM 1,499 for 16GB, RM 1,799 for 32GB and RM 2,099 for 64GB. Meanwhile, it costs RM 1,899 for the 16Gb 3G + Wi-Fi model, RM 2,199 for 32GB and RM2,499 for 64GB.
