Uniblue has recently launched the newer version of its award-winning series of PC optimization application suite. The Uniblue Powersuite is now updated to version 2013.
In Uniblue Powersuite Pro 2013, the first changes that you should notice is the redesigned user interface. The fresh new look tells you, at a glance, the state of your computer’s overall health. Moreover, the various components in the suite is now easier to navigate. The major components are divided into three sections with three types of scans – Speed Tools, System Optimization and Disk Optimization.
To make your computer runs faster, you need to look into the Speed Tools section. It covers a set of essential tools like the CPU manager (to manage and balance the CPU usage), Software Launch Booster (to boost software launch speed), Start Menu Software Accelerator (decrease software launch times through Start Menu) and Proactive Thumbnail Generator (save thumbnail data to disk for faster access).
Under System Optimization section, you can apply a handful of smart tweaks (yeah, smart!) to optimize your computer’s speed. Besides, you can deactivate unused processes to free up resources, clean up invalid registry entries and scans your system for outdated drivers. Uniblue supports more than 88,600 drivers!
Finally, the Disk Optimization section gives you the ability to clean unwanted stuff from your system, such as junk files from Recycle Bin, temporary files, internet files and remove old backups. You can choose to compress large files to free up some hard drive storage. Last but not least is the disk defragmentation tool to organize your disk files to enhance file access speed.
If you want to run the three scans in one go, there is a one-click button at the top right of the main window that enables you to start a full system scan.
The Uniblue Powersuite Pro 2013 is compatible with Windows 8, Windows 7, Vista and XP. It costs $89.95 ($59.95 for limited time) to purchase the license with one year subscription. Besides the Pro version, you can download the free edition of the software suite, the Powersuite Lite 2013. The lite version gives you access only to the tools under the Speed Tools section.
