The Evolution of Microsoft Office

So far, 2015 has been a pinnacle year for Microsoft and Windows. Not only was Windows 10 released, but just last month the latest incarnation of Microsoft Office (aka Microsoft Office 2016) was released to the general public.

Microsoft Office combines the most essential and widely used software together in an all-in-one package. There’s Word, the spread sheet giant Excel, the ultimate presentation tool in PowerPoint and Outlook; the email application. To understand just how effective Office has been over the years, you need to travel through the history of the software and the improvements it’s gone through since its original launch.

Not only have they received multiple additions and updates, but they’ve also helped to launch new software such as Publisher and Outlook.

Take a look at the infographic below and go through the ultimate timeline of Microsoft Office improvements.
