iolo technologies has recently released the newer version of its flagship and award-winning PC tune-up software suite. The System Mechanic is now updated to version 11.
What’s New is System Mechanic 11?
One of the most notable new features in System Mechanic 11 is the introduction of the real-time performance optimization technology, called the AcceleWrite.
AcceleWrite is a real-time technology that optimizes file organization on both solid state drives (SSD) and traditional hard disk drives (HDD). Using the technology, the files are written to storage with minimum random writing of file data. This way, you should experience significant increase overall system responsiveness, improvement to overall data transfer speed and reduced file fragmentation in your system.
Other new features and improvements include more powerful Windows start-up optimization, full Windows 8 integration (Yes, Windows 8!), thousands of additional tune-up definitions, additional dashboard control and streamlined setup, unlimited home licensing (means you buy one license and use it on unlimited number of computers, for home-use only) and more powerful malware protection for System Shield (System Mechanic Pro only).
System Mechanic 11 is compatible with Windows 8, Windows 7, Vista and XP operating systems. It costs $49.95 ($24.95 for limited time) to purchase for 1 year subscription. The Pro version (with System Shield anti-virus and anti-spyware) costs $69.95 ($49.95 for limited time) to purchase.
There is also a cut-down version of the PC tune up software available for download for free. The System Mechanic Free can be downloaded here. During installation, you will need to request for free license to activate System Mechanic Free.
We will talk more about System Mechanice Free (the installation and the available features) in a separate article. Stay tuned for it.
