HTC and Windows Phone 7 Clock Widgets for Windows 7 and Vista1 min read

Previously we have mentioned the HTC Home 3.0 – a HTC Sense style clock and weather widget for Windows 7 and Vista, meanwhile Metro Home is a Windows Phone 7 (WP7) style clock and weather widget for Windows 7 and Vista as well. Both applications come from the same developer.

Today, we are going to introduce the Horloger – a multi-skins clock widget for your desktop, developed by ~amine5a5, a Deviantart user. The skins comes in 4 styles which include both HTC and WP7 styles.

By default, the application shows HTC style clock widget and its position is locked in place.

To switch to the WP7 style clock widget (and customize other options as well), right-click on the widget > select Settings.

Under the General tab, you can change the language, the widget skin, the transparency of the widget and enable/disable several other options like automatic start-up, display minutes, seconds and date.

Under the skin option, choose the WP7 Horloger, then hit Apply to get the WP7 clock widget.

In the Position tab, check the “Manual position” option and the widget is now movable to any location in your desktop.

Horloger is free for download and works on Windows 7 and Vista only (32 or 64-bit operation systems). It requires Microsoft .NET Framework 3.5 SP1 to work.

P.S. : The version 2 of Horloger is now under development. Hopefully, we can see more exciting features to the existing ones. From the screenshot below, version 2 will definitely feature option to set Alarm.
