Win XP LogonUI Changer is a lightweight application that enables you customize the appearance of your Window XP welcome (or logon) screen with third party LogonUI.exe files.
By default, this freeware does not contain any logon screen. Therefore, you need to first download the third party logon screen files from the Deviant art. You can find a lot of cool logon screens there.
After download, you need to add the downloaded logon screen to Windows XP LogonUI Changer. From the main window, go to File > Import. Browse for the logon screen that you’ve downloaded.
This application comes with real-time preview window which allows you to preview the logon screen before deciding to replace the default window welcome screen with it. To apply selected logon screen as your Windows logon screen. Click File, then choose Apply Selected.
If you have more than one logon screen on your list, you can choose to display random logon screen every time you logon to Windows. To do so, you need to click Settings > Randomize logon on startup.
Now, let’s take a look at my new Windows XP logon screen. 🙂
