Not only the NORAD Tracks Santa app get updated for both iOS and Android, the official site of the santa tracking program has already dressed up for this year’s festive season. This year, Microsoft is once again becoming NORAD’s partner (for second successive years) to power up the NORAD Tracks Santa site.
Besides tracking Santa’s progress in delivering the presents around the globe on December 24, the site now offers a number of interactive features. It offers a breathtaking recreation of Santa’s Village, fun new games (a new one every day till Dec 23), holiday music and opportunities to get live updates on Santa’s location. You can make Skype call to the NORAD Tracks Santa Operations Center and also access library of informations about Santa, his Sleigh and the holiday traditions from around the world.
And yes, did we mention that the site is touch enabled? Microsoft recommends users to experience NORAD Tracks Santa with IE11 on a touch device.
On December 24th when NORAD starts tracking Santa, you will be able to follow his journey on the 3D globe and pinch and zoom your way to his many destinations. This experience works best on IE11 because it was designed from the ground up to be perfect for touch, plus it offers support for web standards like HTML5 and WebGL.
Official site of NORAD Tracks Santa is accessible here.
