In addition to Plants vs Zombies 2 (still pending for official launch), Plants vs Zombies : Garden Warfare is the upcoming installment to the famous PvZ tower defense franchise. The game is scheduled to hit consoles and PC in early 2014.
Sunflower, Pea-shooter, Cactus, and Chomped are the four playable characters in the game. Each has its own mode of attack as well as special attributes.
Garden Warface is different from the previous two installments as the game will be a third-person shooter game with four playable characters. In Gamescom 2013 next week on August 20, Popcap Games and EA will reveal more about Garden Warface. At the meantime, a new game trailer has been released on Youtube for public viewing.
