We haven’t update you with new characters for the upcoming Angry Birds Star Wars II game since the first four pig characters made it to Youtube on August 26. It’s September 5 today and there is only two weeks left for the game to launch worldwide.
After revealing Emperor Palpatine, Driodeka, Zam Wesell and TIE Fighter Pilot – all from the pork side, there are another 14 characters that have made their appearances on the video sharing site. Sum it up and Rovio has revealed 18 characters so far with 12-plus characters waiting for introduction.
New Angry Birds Star Wars II characters joining the bird side are three version of Luke Skywalker (Endor, Pilot and Jedi), young Obi-Wan Kenobi, Jar-Jar Binks, Padme Amidala, Mace Windu, Jedi Youngling and Qui-Gon Jinn as well as returning characters from original Angry Birds Star Wars like Han Solo, Princess Leia, R2-D2 and Yoda (playable for the first time). Boba Fett is another addition to the pork side.
