Huawei MediaPad Coming to Malaysia in Mid-October, Price at RM13991 min read

Huawei’s 7-inch dual-core Android 3.2 Honeycomb tablet is coming to Malaysia market by mid-October. The tablet, called Huawei MediaPad, which was first unveiled in June, will be launched in other parts of world by the end of the year. The countries include US, China, Hong Kong and Thailand.

The Huawei MediaPad is powered by 1.2GHz dual-core Qualcomm Snapdragon processor, comes with 8GB internal phone storage which can be expanded with a microSD card. It runs Android 3.2 Honeycomb tablet OS. MediaPad has a 5-megapixel rear camera with auto-focus and support for recording HD video, plus a 1.3 megapixel camera on its front for video calling. The tablet weighs at 390 grams with thickness of 10.5mm. On top of that, MediaPad tablet will be powered by a 4100mAH battery, which will last the tablet for over 6 hours working time.

At the mean time, Huawei MediaPad is already available for pre-orders in Singapore for SGD$ 598 (USD$473 or RM1467).

According to Lowyat.net, the tablet is going to cost RM1,399 in Malaysia and will be available for pre-orders soon through Huawei Malaysia’s official Facebook page. By placing an order for MediaPad, you will receive freebies including a screen protector, an 8GB MicroSD card and a pouch.
