Huawei Malaysia has announced that the upcoming MediaPad tablet and Vision smartphone are now available for pre-order in Malaysia.
Interested customers can place orders through Huawei Malaysia’s official Facebook page, from October 11 to 17, 2011. To pre-order a unit, just send the following details with a subject title “Pre-order Huawei Device” to huaweidevicemy@huawei.com:

The Huawei MediaPad is powered by 1.2GHz dual-core Qualcomm Snapdragon processor, comes with 8GB internal phone storage which can be expanded with a microSD card. It runs Android 3.2 Honeycomb tablet OS. MediaPad has a 7-inch screen display, a 5-megapixel rear camera with auto-focus and support for recording HD video, plus a 1.3 megapixel camera on its front for video calling. The tablet weighs at 390 grams with thickness of 10.5mm. On top of that, MediaPad tablet will be powered by a 4100mAH battery, which will last the tablet for over 6 hours working time.
The Huawei Vision smartphone features a 3.7-inch WGVA screen display (800×480 pixels), a 1GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon MSM 8255 processor with 512MB of RAM and 2GB of internal memory, expandable up to 32GB through a microSD card. It runs Android Gingerbread 2.3 OS loaded with 3D interface. Vision sports a 5-megapixels camera with auto-focus, LED flash and supports 720p video recording. The Android smartphone weighs at 130 grams with thickness of 9.9mm. On top of that, Vision is powered by a 1400mAH battery.
The Vision Android smartphone will be available for RM 1,099 while the 7-inch dual core MediaPad Honeycomb tablet is priced at RM 1,399. By placing an order for either Vision or MediaPad, you will receive freebies including a screen protector, an 8GB MicroSD card, a pouch and an earphone.
After the pre-order ends, you will be contacted by a Huawei representative on the collection location, period and process. Upon collection, you need to pay the total pre-ordered sum.
