Chinese mobile phone maker, Huawei has just announced on its Facebook page the availability of its first high-end Android smartphone, called Huawei Honor.
he Honor smartphone will be available in Russia, Indonesia, Singapore, Malaysia, Japan and China from December (yes, just in time for Christmas!), with other markets to follow (guess will have to wait till next year). Lol… this time Malaysians will be among the first to use the smartphone. 🙂
Huawei Honor is powered by 1.4 GHz processor with a 4-inch FWVGA screen display, 512 MB of RAM and 4 GB of internal storage that can be expandable with a memory card (up to 32GB). Besides, Honor device sports a 8-megapixel rear camera (with HDR capabilities), a 2-megapixel front-facing camera for video calling and is powered by a high-capacity 1,900 mAh battery, which gives Huawei Honor up to 3-day battery life.
On the software side, Huawei Honor runs the latest Android 2.3.5 Gingerbread OS with an exclusive Huawei user interface, as well as a dynamic weather widget. On top of that, Honor measures in a sleek 10.9 mm-thin body and weighs just 140g.
Huawei also revealed the colour variants for the smartphone. Besides the Glossy black flavor, Huawei Honor also comes in Textured Black, Elegant White, Vibrant Yellow, Cherry Blossom Pink and Burgundy.
Pricing remains unknown at the time being, but we have strong feeling that the smartphone will be reasonably priced. 🙂
