An update on the upcoming HTC Runnymede. The Android smartphone which is expected to become the second HTC device with Beats Audio technology (The first was Sensation XE, announced on September 14), has made the first appearance on Youtube yesterday.
In the less than a minute video clip, you are shown with the sleek and exquisite physical body of the white-colour HTC Runnymede and a short tour on the new HTC Sense 3.5 UI. You should notice the Beats Audio logo on the back of the phone.
Then, if you observe carefully on the home screen, you should see Vodafone UK carrier name just above the displayed time. What does this mean? Most probably the Beats smartphone will hit the UK market exclusively through Vodafone UK network. Anyway, it’s just a guess though.
On top of that, according to PocketNow, the HTC Runnymede will launch with a different name, known as HTC Sensation XL. It is rumored to come in two Beats Audio-themed bundles: one with iBeats earbuds and another, special, edition containing over-the-ear Beats Solo headphones.
