We have updates on the upcoming female-oriented HTC Bliss Android smartphone. First, the smartphone has a new name – called the HTC Ryhme (should be official, I think). Next is we have the press shots of the Rhyme to show you, courtesy of HTC Inside (German site).
Judging from the photo, the HTC Rhyme will be available in silver (but no idea on other color variants). On the specification, the smartphone is reported to boast a 3.7-inch WVGA screen, a single-core 1GHz processor, 768MB of RAM, 4GB of internal storage, five-megapixel camera with 720p video recording capability, VGA front-facing camera, and will be powered by a 1,600mAh battery. On top of that, the smartphone runs on Android 2.3.4 Gingerbread OS with the new HTC Sense 3.5 overlay.
Will HTC Rhyme sports the Beats audio technology like the recently unveiled HTC Sensation XE and upcoming HTC Runnymede? Not likely! 🙁

As for the launch date, we expect the official announcement of the HTC Rhyme on 20 September (see the weather widget in the image above for hint), where HTC will hold a media event, called “come celebrate in style with HTC” in New York on the day. Thanks, PocketNow!
