Galaxy Nexus Shows Up in Verizon Wireless System1 min read

The Ice Cream Sandwich OS media event is going to take place this Wednesday, October 19 in Hong Kong. In the event, we expect Samsung and Google to unveil the next Google phone, codenamed Galaxy Nexus.

So talking about Galaxy Nexus, we’ve learnt that the Google phone is expected to hit US market, exclusively through Verizon Wireless network. The leaked document (courtesy of Driod-Life) from the mobile phone carrier confirmed that the Galaxy Nexus has appeared in Verizon Wireless’s Device Management system as the “Samsung Galaxy Nexus”.

From the screenshot, we can see that the Galaxy Nexus is listed as a 4G LTE device to take advantage of the wireless carrier’s 4G LTE network. However, it appears that the Google phone won’t be a global phone. At the moment of writing, we’re still keep in dark regarding the pricing and availability.

UPDATE : Verizon pricing of Galaxy Nexus revealed. $299.99 on contract, to be available starting November 10 or later. Thanks, Engadget!
