In our previous writing about the Trend Micro Titanium Maximum Security 2014, we’ve mentioned about Privacy Scanner. It’s a useful feature for online users as it helps monitor privacy settings and flags potential privacy concerns in social networks like Facebook, Google+ and Twitter.
For Android users who are using Facebook, there is actually an app (a free one) from the Trend Micro that enables you to manage Facebook settings on-the-go. Called the Privacy Scanner for Facebook, the app gives you control over which apps can access biographical data and who can tag and see photos.
To put the app to work, you will need to first sign into your Facebook account.
After successfully login, you can get the app to start scanning your Facebook settings. It will list down all the risky settings found on the social networking site and suggest recommended changes to your Facebook settings. Hopefully you apply the changes to protect your privacy. 🙂
Privacy Scanner for Facebook is free for download and is compatible with Android devices running version 2.2 or higher.
