Blog Earning Report
Here is the breakdown of my earnings for June 2010, with total money made online : USD$373.79.
- Google Adsense : $327.01
- Kontera : $46.38
Almost nothing to shout about in this July 2010 report card. Unique visitors, page views and blog earning, all have headed to the south. Plus, I didn’t post sufficient number of articles, with only 19 articles last month. Actually, I’ve involved an accident earlier last month, which caused a minor tissue injury to my finger. So, that’s explain why there was not a single post published between 10 to 18 July.
Traffic Exchange Program with MarketGID
On mid July, MarketGID (MGID) has contacted me and offered a free traffic exchange program to increase hits to my blog. All I need to do is place their News Widget (I’ve placed them between the articles and comments) on my blog. For the number of visitors I’ve send to their site, they guarantee 150-300% amount of visitors back to my site in the same day.
I was so tempted to accept their offer because in their email, they’ve claimed that my blog can potentially fetch 30,000 – 40,000 extra visitors from MGID monthly. So did I get 30k – 40k extra traffic last month? Of course, not and far from getting to the number they’ve claimed!
I received merely 1k visitors from MGID. If you are interested, visit this page for more details.
Accepted, then Got Rejected by Burst Media
Early last month, I’ve decided to apply and join the Burst Media network. Burst Media is a CPM-based online advertising company. Initially, they have accepted my application and included my blog as part of their network. I was a happy man and looking forward to earn more money online.
But, only after one day serving their CPM ads, came an email from Burst Media that informed me about their rejection for Burst Media membership.
Here’s an excerpt of the email.
Burst Network is looking for niche, specialty content websites of editorial content on one subject, a very narrow demographic, high-quality professional content and design and a minimum of 25,000 pageviews a month.
It is our opinion that our sales efforts simply are not a good match for the content you provide. We are not passing judgment, only relying on our years of experience as to what works for Burst and what does not.
Well, taking on the positive side. This should boost my motivation to write better, quality and consistent content in this blog. I should make them regret for not accepting my application to join their network.
So, to all bloggers out there, keep up the great blogging work! Good luck on your blogging and make money online journey. 🙂
