The F1 racing-themed Angry Birds Heikki has finally made its debut today, a week behind schedule. The game was originally set to launch on June 18. Never mind the delay, read on for more details.
The Angry Birds Heikki is a minigame dedicated to Finnish Formula 1 racing driver, Heikki Kovalainen. It is released as web version game only.
The game is now accessible at http://heikki.angrybirds.com/, containing 12 Formula 1 levels (or tracks). The levels are arranged in the order of the 2012 F1 races. You need to register an account (it’s free) to start playing Angry Birds Heikki.
The first level starts at Silverstone racing track. This is the track where the actual 2012 Formula 1 British Grand Prix was held yesterday.
The Silverstone is currently the only playable-track. New track will be unlocked a few days or a week before the actual race takes place.
Like other variations of the Angry Birds game, the minigame also offers special powerups called Heikki Power, which can be used to help maximise your score. How can you unlock Heikki Power? Simple, visit Heikki Kovalainen’s official Facebook fan page to obtain a special code. Then, use the special code to unlock Heikki Power.
Okay, now let’s play Angry Birds on racing track!
