In the early days of Olympic games, from 700 BC to 300 AD, the Olympic results were delivered with homing pigeons. Yes, pigeons! Then, came the first wireless telegraph (in 1896), first radio broadcast (in 1924) and first live video telecast (in 1936). Then, in 1960, the Olympic had its first worldwide broadcast, meanwhile the Atlanta 1996 Olympic was dubbed as the “Internet Olympics” where mobile phones and pagers came into play.

And now, in London 2012 Olympic, people will use IP communication applications to share information on Olympics.
