The Apple iPad, One Year Later [Infographic]1 min read

When the Apple iPad made its debut on January 27 last year, nobody has ever predicted that the tablet device would has sold for over 15 million units in year 2010. The average analyst prediction of iPad sales was only 3.3 millions. In other words, the iPad sold five times as much as the average analyst predictions!

Two days back, on January 27, 2011 was the first anniversary of the Apple’s iPad tablet device. So, we at My Tech Quest, wishes you a happy belated birthday, Apple iPad! May the incredible growth is sustainable for the many years ahead. 🙂

Here, we have an info-graphic on Apple iPad, created by the guys at OnSwipe, that gives you details on the total tablet device shipments in 2010 and expected tablets shipped for the next 3 years. Oppenheimer & Co. has predicted that a total of 115 millions units of Apple iPad to be shipped in 3 years.
