Today’s Google doodle for the London 2012 Olympics is a little bit different from the previous Olympics-theme doodles. The previous doodles were basically just images, but the doodle no. 12 for the London 2012 Olympics is an interactive ones, which means that you get to play with doodle. Great!
Hurdles 2012 is not the first playable doodle that we’ve seen on Google, but the first of its kind for the Olympics. In the doodle, you get to participate in the 110 metres men’s hurdles race, where you need to run over 10 hurdles and try to finish the race in the shortest time possible.
The game is controlled by left and right arrow keys (press repeatedly) to run. To jump over hurdle, press spacebar. You can play it on Google homepage (available for August 7 only) or the doodle page : https://www.google.com/doodles/hurdles-2012.
Here’s a video on the gameplay.

Here’s my best time after playing for 5 times – 13.8s.
How’s your?
